Just curious about something..Why get an all in one generator welder? Why don't you just get a generator and use a shop type welder? Doesnt the engines wear out and have problems before things go out on the welder?Im kinda thinking like the eggs all in one basket senario...Various GrindersVictor Journeyman torch200cf Acet. 250cf oxygenLincoln 175 plus/alpha2 gunLincoln v205t tigLincoln 350mpEsab 650 plasmaWhen you can get up in the morning, Its a good day.Live each day like its your last.

Reply:I got mine cause it's a dc stick and 5kw generator for 100.00. You should be shot if you pass a deal like that.

Reply:It is "nice" to have both packaged together. It is also nice to know that Lincoln or Miller says that "this will work" in stead of matching up amps and volts, and finding one that will preform well with the constant starts and stoping of welding. I have 2 weld gen units and have not had a problem with either, and best of all when I go camping and bring the generator, I have my welder to help other people fix their trucks (my truck is a Ford, so it doesn't break down on the trail ) |
