Where can I purchase the football shaped springs that are used for handles on grills and other hot parts?Do most people wind them themselves?
Reply:Would this do it?
Reply:King sells metal baskets that would work.http://www.kingmetalscatalog.com/lg_..._2013/page/282http://www.kingmetalscatalog.com/lg_..._2013/page/283I've also seen guys hit the used tool places and simply buy up old chipping hammers for this purpose..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I made the handles for my smoker and bbq by wrapping expanded metal around two 1/2" flat washers and tacking the metal to the washers. Then I just welded a piece of 1/2" round stock thru the washers and formed the handle bend to fit the application. I was amazed at how cool the handles stay.Miller 211Miller T-bolt ac/dcVictor o/aMilwaukee ChopsawDewalt, Milwaukee minigrinderDelta drill pressDelta bench grinderair grinder, die grinderHF pipe benderHF horizontal bandsaw
