At what point do you decide it's time for new boots? When the lugs wear down, when the leather has too many cracks? When the steel toe gets too banged up? When they just plain stink too much when you bend over to tie them up?At what point do you get a new fill rod? When you start to burn your finger tips? At what point do you get a new stinger? When the old one is cracked? Corroded? At what point do you quit for the day? When you finish just that one last thing? After clean up? When your just to dag gone too tired? At what point do you change your 40 grit flap disc? When it becomes a 300 grit?At what point do you switch out your 4.5 or 6 inch grinding disc? When the 4.5 becomes a 2.5 with a bevel or the 6 becomes a 3?At what point do you toss your leather chaps? When they are 25 years old and just plain black when they were light brown? They were only 20 bucks back then they are 40 bucks now!At what point do you toss your gloves? When you burn through the stitching of the left thumb while using a plasma? Or when they catch fire or wrinkle to much from the heat?Just wondering...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Reply:I'd say buy at least new insoles every year and boots when they fall apart. Leathers when you start getting burned through them and a new hood when it breaks. The hard question is when do you buy new leads?Teach Ag Mech - Mike At Home:Lincoln Electric AC225Miller Challenger 172Gas AxeWork:eclectic bunch of 90's vintage blue boxes |
