I am having a hard time deciding between the two. I will be doing more Aluminum than steel under 1/4. I have a power supply of 230 at 60 amps.Size or weight does not matter and I am also new to Tig.Thanks in advance.

Reply:eather unit will likely do you just fine. at 60amps you are going to be pushing the outer limits of your breaker. i would probly go with the miller just to stay a little closer to your amps available, but then i prefer blue any way so its up to you. like i said eather will do the job, i like the setup on the syncrowave with simple easy to use controles and some auto set features that will save on gas and help keep you in proper operating flows. keeping in mind i did not look inot the red option so it may also have some of the same setting.if i had the power to run one i would have the syncro200 insted of the TA-185 now but i just dont have the power to feed it.my vote (probly biest) goes to the syncro200 summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time. |
