Anyone know which brand to consider for a combination plasma/tig/arc unit? Preferably non Chinese made units. Bought a 50A plasma/tig/arc unit off of eBay and it was DOA, so I'm skittish about trying another Chinese unit.
Reply:For what it's worth, I've got a Chinese AC/DC TIG and it works beautifully.Make sure you can get the consumables for whatever brand you get.

Reply:Mine doesn't seem to have a brand name - I think they all come out of the same factory anyway Here is the unit I've got ($1275AU = $986US). Ebay stuff goes really cheap just after Christmas.... |
