I've searched all over the place for this. I have seen one in the past mounted to the side of a sw175, and was wondering if something similar existed that I could hook up to my sync250 (older model, no option for pulse control). Does any company make external pulse controllers that just plug into the remote receptacle?ESAB MigMaster 275Miller Econotwin HFMiller Syncrowave 250

Reply:I believe you can make an external pulse controller fairly easily. I'll see if my son has the schematic. Here's a related thread. Post #8 has a link to the PC-300 pulser if that's what you need for your model. http://www.millerwelds.com/resources...nd-Sequencer.&"USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder

Reply:If you want the files that describe the build of an equivalent box, PM me and I'll forward a RAR file with notes, schematic and pictures. It's not super complicated but does involve a few ICs, caps and whatnot. This is the stuff that Ken Moffett put together for a Sync 180. http://www.macalester.edu/~moffett/"USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder

Reply:Just make sure you make things in a quick disconnect fashion. The miller website had a post from a guy that worked at miller and he said they would deny warranty claims if the unit was user modified. If you removed all your sequencer options and have the unit serviced, there should be no evidence left behind of your modification. And I am not suggesting ripping off the manufacturer, but if the unit failed and it was NOT caused by something you did, they should still fix it. That has always been my argument with vehicles too.Lincoln Power Mig 210MP MIGLincoln Power Mig 350MP - MIG and Push-PullLincoln TIG 300-300Lincoln Hobby-Weld 110v Thanks JLAMESCK TIG TORCH, gas diffuser, pyrex cupThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101My brain
Reply:I've got Powcon pulser that hooks in the 14 pin receptacle.I'll take $100 if your interested.I'd say it will work on any machine with a 14 pin receptacle.
Reply:got any info on that pulser? I'd like to pull a manual from somewhere or have a part number if possible.ESAB MigMaster 275Miller Econotwin HFMiller Syncrowave 250
