Tigging Tube Question

New to me, beginner with the tig. I have just started to attempt to tig up some test joints with some 1.25 crew .065 tubing and would like some input on the issues I am finding one is the nipple bump where I stop, and the rest I think is just manual technique "I need to get down the movement and stop when I cant see well enough". Reply:Looks like you need to clean the steel, lots of stuff floating in the weld. Was the steel coated? Reply:I don't tig much but when I've tried thin stuff I use rod that is thinner then what I'm welding on. The rod your using now takes the same amount of heat to melt as the tubing and to melt them both at the same time requires even more heat.Your tubing is .065 so maybe you should try using .045 rod. That all I got.

Reply:Its all tough if you don't practice. Now that  its cold again I am doing at least a few minutes every day.  Just figured out I need a new reg so I am going to get a flow meter, seems this victor can be turned down on the output to almost nothing and I still have enough argon, the cylinder was gone quick before I figured it out.
