Can you Identify this cylinder valve?

Just got this from a trade.   I should have check the valve but I didn't....  In any case, can you identify this valve?  It's a oxygen welding tank that was last certified at June of 1999.  It has the same pitch as CGA 540 but the male fitting diameter is just bit smaller than CGA 540.  Is there an adapter available to fit the common CGA 540.  If not, will LWS trade me another tank with standard CGA540 fitting?Thanks!!
Reply:The worst thing that could happen is you take it in and pay for hydro testing, then have a new valve put in it. Reply:Anything marked on the valve? I see "Sherwood" who is who made the valve. There is also some thing stamped on the wrench flats below the inlet. Sherwood usually marks their valves with what the CGA number is some where on the valve. Take a look and see what other marking you can find on it..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:LOL.  Who would have thought, just read the label would give me the answer However, this still doesn't make sense.  The marking indicate it's a CGA 540, and yet I have never seen CGA 540 with male thread.
Reply:Oops, I don't what gotten into me.  The valve shown is indeed CGA 540.  I was thinking about CGA 580 I use for Argon where the cylinder side has a female thread.  Thank you all.
