Reply:I use the spot timer when having the new kid help me tack up plating tanks corner to corner. When dealing with 4' long seams in 10 gauge material and a FNG it works great to autogeniously tack the corners togetherVantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.

Reply:I have a spot timer on my machine, and it does exactly what Dualie describes. Hit the button, get current for the specified amount of time, then the contactor opens.I don't have a pedal yet so i am using a simple momentary switch on the torch for on/off control. If it doesn't fit, you aren't hitting it hard enough!Miller AerowaveMiller Radiator 1A4.5" DeWalt (with the paddle switch!)Jackson NexGen Helmet |
