how do you like it? is it real limiting? If the conversation isnt money, then Ill see you later.
Reply:search for the reviews on this and the miller unit which is basically the same. There were many threads on the miller box when it first came out. Miller forum is a good place to search also/
Reply:What are you looking to do? Duty cycle at the top end is fairly limited. There are no advanced functions like balance control etc, and you can not stick weld with it..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:thin aluminum, sheduled.40 tubing between 1/8 and a 1'' thick. If the conversation isnt money, then Ill see you later.
Reply:your limited to 1/8" or less aluminum. There are a lot better machines out there, I would look for a used lincoln squarewave or a syncrowave. Used they can be had pretty cheap, they are heavy but if you dont need to be portable then it really doesnt matter

Reply:Was looking through ebay and for $200 more you can get a TA 186 which would give you a fully adjustable tig along with stick welding ability. The TA 186 is a new machine though but Thermal Arc product is pretty good, I have the previous TA 185. |
