Hello all just trying to sort out my new uses spoolgun and am on home stretch. My trouble is gas flow I have it narrowed down to where the gas diffuser mates with the other brass piece (the one screwed into aluminum block) if the two are screwed tight no flow through if I crack it open a little but then the gas will flow at the proper rate 30cfmLooking at the manual online has not really helped I feel like I am missing a washer or something I can blow through the dad diffuser fine doesn't seem like its plugged. Any idea?Jeff
Reply:Figured it out .. I had the small Teflon liner in the wrong way with the little o ring facing the tip instead of between the copper bit and the alloy block. Still seems to be a bit of a pinch somewhere the highest flow I can get is 25 Cfm... Should me enough to work
Reply:If you have the older style magnum spool gun. Call systematics for technical help.They built it for Lincoln, They also built similar spool guns for snap on and ESAB.Asked Lincoln a question one time about these and they had no idea. Called systematics and we fixed it in less than a minute. For now you have to go to Lincoln to get parts.
