HOBART HANDLER 187 Value

My neighbor has a Hobart 187 hes wanting to sell me, it was burnt up by one of his sons when it was new, sent back to Hobart and completely gone through and has never been used since other then to make sure it worked...no tanks just welder what would be a fair price for it, did a bunch of searches trying to get a idea but came up with zilch, found a few old ads selling it on sale new for 529.00.. any help appreciated..thanks.

Reply:thanks for all the responses guys, he hasnt shot me a price yet, seen him today but he didnt say anything else about it..not going to push the issue will wait till he tells me what he wants before I make a offer, said its been sitting in his garage for 2-3 yrs and wants it gone. He did give me a 500 gal. tank to make a smoker out of today thats been sitting behind his barn for 25-30 yrs, still solid to.
