Not gonna lie, i went through the UA course a few years back, and being a 5th year apprentice with all my certs/liscenses i didnt pay 100% attention. I know i remembered at the time, as i could write a program, but now I am getting the call to go to a fab shop and put my cert to work, but they want me two write 3 programs. 1/4", 3/4" and a 2" program. I have good programs already printed from an AMI207 machine, but if they want me to use a calculator and figure the program out myself i need a refresher I know you take the wall thickness and divide by (X) to get your primary amp (?) then multiply that by (.3 ?) for every level? Hell I really cant remember and i'll be the first to say our instructor didnt give us all the knowledge we needed. I already have the UA quick program card, just looking to find the basic formula if there really even is one.thanks for your help |
