I have had this welder for a few years. It is a great welder I got it for $25. I cleaned it up, added a fan and painted it black. It was century red. I use it several times a week.It has taps for different arc characteristics. There is deep arc, smooth arc and force arc. There are insructions on the face of the machine as to what rod to use with which arc.There are some instructions as to how to use it for a batter charger. Anybody know how hold this welder is? It has a combination of copper and aluminum windings. Attached Images

Reply:Just guessing but from the pics it looks like it was made 70's maybe 60's. That might have been the best $25 you've ever spent. I'll bet the it still be working in another 30 years. |
