Does everyone know that Lowes has the $150 hitachi 1/2 cordless drill on sale for $99 through Fathers day? If you have one how do you like it? This is the driver kit with case.
Reply:Assume 18V?I had their 12V back in 1997. It was my favorite until I broke it by dropping it off a ladder. I wanted another, but went with DeWalt 18V for the variety and never looked back.Hitachi is considered name-brand when it comes to power tools.
Reply:I hate when that happens... I bought my 14.4 volts a few years ago. It's still working perfectly, but a chance to upgrade to 18 volts for $99... May be too hard to pass up on that deal. I originally bought mine because it was inexpensive, and i figured lesser quality. But it did seem to feel comfortable in my hand. Now I'm not sure I'd try another brand. The best things in life all come on a stick!
Reply:Don't feel bad, I have yet to upgrade from my 9.6volt makita which is probably over 15 years old. Still sufficient for my needs....- John
Reply:I still love my 7 year old 12V Porter-Cable. It fits my hand perfectly.John-----------------------------------|Craftsman 230/140 amp AC/DC BuzzboxSynchrowave 250 |
