Hi, will the 7018 rod work with my torch??? or do i need a stick welder?? thanks, sam .
Reply:7A749 is correct.  If you'd like to do some welding with your torch, go pick up some rg45 and have at it.  You should be able to pick up rg45 for a few dollars a pound at your lws.  1/16 or 3/32 should serve you well unless you have a very large acetylene bottle, large nozzle and thick steel to weld.  OA welding is fun, relaxing and a great skill to learn.Victor OAHobart Stickmate LX 235AC/160DC
