DeWalt D28715 Chop Saw Question

Ok over the weekend I bought the Dewalt D28715 Chop saw and only had the time to mess with it a little bit. I want to naturally build a welding cart for my MIG so I got some 1"x1"x.125" angle that I want to cut. I was going to miter cut the end of the angles to make the shelf but it looks like to me that I can only cut 45 degree angles one way. The anlge gauge only goes from 0 degrees to 45 degrees in one direction. Maybe I missing something here but how do I cut the opposite hand miter like this? I guess if I can't do it I will just cope the angles to make my 90 degree corner or make some sort of jig to cut other 45 degree angle. Thanks

Reply:Yep, you'll have to flip it over, so just learn how to insert spacers and stuff so that the part still clamps well.
Reply:Well I offically feel stupid! Thanks for the help guys and for not poking fun at me even though I have it coming. Yep a free grinder for me! That is really the main reason I bought the Dewalt chop saw I was going to get a cheapo one but when you get a $90 4 1/2" Dewalt grinder (and I don't have a grinder) that deal is hard to beat in my opinion. I am really new to welding, I am taking a class thru work to become certified in MIG and have really taken a liking to welding and fab stuff. So now I have a Lincoln 180 MIG, Dewalt chop saw and coming in 10 to 12 weeks a Dewalt 4 1/2" angle grinder.
