I got a decent deal on one so I couldn't refuse... I will eventually upgrade to a miller once I gain some more skill on TIG. It came with a TIG conversion kit with the switch mounted to the torch. I was wondering if there are options for me to install a foot pedal as well. I'm new to TIG'ing although I have done a bit of mild steel one day in welding class (pretty basic class in college). I enjoyed it very much so I had my heart set on a welder for tig. My MIG skills are pretty good which is not all that impressive, I know. I'll be using it mainly for stainless 304 exhaust work so ideas on gas mix/filler rod is welcome. Suggest purging at all for o2 bungs? Any tips or suggestions would be helpful thanks. I know most of you are against the snap-on welders and I respect the reasons behind that, as I said before I'll be getting rid of this unit eventually for a real welder. This is the model, not my exact unit because its just out of the box but to give you an idea on the input/outputs.
