Reply:i use mostly flap discs at my shop. we do 98 percent aluminum. at first we were using zirconia discs and they were fine. then norton came out with the "blaze" ceramic flap wheels. alot more$$$ so the welding supply gave us a couple boxes to try. ten of them have done what 30 of the others did. that is all we use now. i did some side work for a fella and i had to weld a cracked tank that had been concreted, using one of the blaze wheels, i ground the concrete and the steel together to get to good metal that could be welded. still used it to polish the welds when i was done with repairs. ceramics are the way to go...nothing fancy, just a few hot glue guns for metalwww.sicfabrications.com
Reply:thanks for the reply im going to try out a ten pack of the ceramic and see how they do 350P 30A spool gun cut master 51 syncro 250 other stuff " take a dog off the street and make him prosper and he will not bite you sad the same cannot be said for man" i didnt use punctuation just to piss you off |
