Blue Demon rods?

My work goes through enough rod that they don't mind if I take a little home now and then for the little welding I do at home.  Anyway, since they bought the mig welder they probably won't be buying any more rod since the only time we'll use it is when there isn't an outlet for the mig to reach and we have to use the trailblazer.  I want to get some 1/8" 6010 and what they have been getting is Blue Demon, I believe they get all their welding stuff from airgas, but I don't see it listed on their website so maybe it came from McMaster.  It's been a long time since I've used anything else, and quite frankly back then I probably wasn't good enough to tell the difference.My question is, should I stick with the blue demon?  I'm sure there is better, but nothing I do probably matters enough as the blue demon has seemed ok to me.  I mostly buy the lower end hobart because that is what is available in the farm stores and such, but 6010 is not available so I will have to go to a welding supply.  Blue demon claims to made in USA, as does hobart, which is important to me.  I just feel like if I keep buying it, I will be missing out on something possibly better.  I was thinking the Lincoln 5p+ since it talked about so highly, but I don't want to buy more than 10# at a time if I can help it and it only comes in 50# as far as I can tell.  Much of the other Lincoln stuff seems to come from Mexico.  Esab 10p could be an option I suppose if it comes in smaller quantities.  If it matters, I never use strictly 6010, it is only for thicker metal to penetrate before I use 7018... and I usually burn it a little than normal, maybe even hotter than I should.
Reply:You can buy 60105p+ in 10lb metal cans.Same with Excalibur 7018.Those are the two kinds of rods worth buying,
Reply:Thanks, I didn't know that.  I've only seen them in 50# cans.  I guess stopping by the lws would have been helpful.  Are they made in USA?  I assume so since I'm sure they want the government jobs.
Reply:I've never used Blue Demon 6010. One of the members here sent me some Blue Demon 7018 for me to try, and see what I thought of it.
