I just got an air gas torch at an estate sale for $5. It's a national 3a blowpipe , came with the box and instructions and stuff but only one tip. Looks very simple, there's a nozzle for air and one for gas, according to the box it can use air and fuel or oxy fuel. With the right cutting tip could I actually do some cutting with oxy mapp or propane? Maybe cut sheet metal?Any thoughts? ThanksThe fittings are really simple , it looks like its just meant to have some tube and hose clamps connecting it. There are knobs on the handle to adjust the flow of either gas or air/oxygen |
