This is a welding table I have had in mind for some time now and finally had the chance to build it. Attached Images
Reply:Good looking table! Wish I had one like it...
Reply:COOL ! I like the double wheel trailer jack. great idea.
Reply:Very nice, interesting idea!!!!Mauricio
Reply:Sweet!
Reply:Thanks everybody. The frame is made out of 2.5" 3/16 sq tube. I left the ends open to receive attachments as I see fit. I want one side of the table to be solid on the ground and not on wheels for a vice attachment and such. You can kind of see the open ends in this pic. Attached Images

Reply:Nice,How thick did you go with the top plate? I am going to build one soon.
Reply:Nice table... solid design...heavy, but mobile. Those corners look sharp and dangerous, but a work shop should be a little hazardous I guess. Is that shop new ? It looks too clean and "empty" ! ha!
Reply:1/4" top with plenty of bracing. Going to round the corners. Shop is a work in progress.

Reply:Cool welding table! Great idea on the trailer jack. Looks sturdy and heavy duty, can surely handle the toughest job in the shop. Great job!
Reply:Top is flat within 1/16 ". Flat enough for what I do. |
