Reply:I don't have any tips for you, but my father grew up on a farm in Williston back in the 30-40's when the population was about 5000. Heard the stories many times of him walking in 5 feet of snow, up hill, both ways to school, carrying a bucket of rocks. School was one room for 1st grade through 8th. High school was larger. He high tailed it out and joined the Navy at 18. Who would have thought that ND would have a Navy recruiting office?Boy have things changed there. Wish he still owned the farmland there. Good luck with finding opportunity. It sounds like there is a bunch.

Reply:Thanks for all the replies…I secured a job ….not in the oil field however this job will def get me into most of the oil companies …its a delivery job however I'm thinking while I'm making deliveries I can hand off some resumes…..winter is coming and within the next month the temp will drop pretty quickly not to mention the snow….Hopefully I can secure a oilfield job by Jan. although I am on a list for rig training…but who knows….the housing situation is real bad so Ill continue sleeping in my truck (stealth) until i secure a job with housing.
