I apologize if this is a newb question, but I just bought a used Lincoln Power-Mig 255 (my first welder) that came with what I believe is the original flowmeter/regulator, which looks like this:I have an 80cf argon/co2 tank that has about 400psi left according to the flowmeter gauge and was going to use it up before getting it refilled. The problem is the little BB in the flowmeter isn't moving (stuck at the bottom) nor does it seem like I'm getting any shielding gas regardless of how much I adjust the outlet knob on the regulator. Thoughts on what might be wrong?
Reply:You do know you have to trigger the gun to get flow? Also, I doubt that flow meter came with the Lincoln. They usually come with a flow gauge.
Reply:LOL, well there is my doh for the day! My first time using a flow meter. Thanks for the reality checkLast edited by buening82; 01-28-2013 at 12:57 PM. |
