Reply:Yeah Tozzi good tip! I use that method on a daily, working in tight spots. Some people stare at ya like your nuts if you stare em in the face and do it quick, then flip you hood down and start welding.  I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Reply:Instead of wasting half a good rod just cut off two or three inches.Does wonders for stiffening up a rod for a 2" 6g test.

Reply:use that method all the time . I dont wrap the end just bend it at a 90 and hold it against the stinger. Also do what is shown in the video. different applications.. disclaimer there are alot of people with more skill than me I cheat the weld every chance I get
