So here is my first time tig welding. I know its not the best at all. Let me know what you think. Machine was set up by a welder also, not me. Attached Images

Reply:Only problem to that question is I have no clue. The welder I was with handed me the torch and rod and said go your turn. So kind of a draw back.

Reply:It looks a little undercut, could have used more filler. And that orange haze is from a tungsten dip. Takes quite a bit of practice to get really good at it but they arent bad for afirst time run. Just run about 1000 more of those coupons lol, it really is an art form nearly.

Reply:I just started TIG welding too and if i showed that to my instructor he would say what are you running? But yeah TIG is a new process to me too but catching on fast and it is different, really tedious but cool |
