ATV foot pegs for buddy seat

Got a buddy seat for the Suzi so the wife can ride w/ me in comfort. Searched the net to find a way to build foot pegs and found this idea. 1/2 " conduit w/ a bender and some small sq tube I have that fits one inside the other. Made the pegs so they're removable if need be and added some self sticking anti slip tape I have on hand. Best way I've found to mig things to conduit is just tack weld, start the arc and as soon as the the zinc burns off and a puddle forms, stop and let the metal cool a few seconds and then do another tack. Doesn't look pro but it works for me. Bottom end attaches via existing screw that attaches fender to floorboard and the other end to the rear rack w/ two 10-24 screws.  I have some 2 1/2" hard foam insulation I added between the back of the seat and the rack to make a full surface for the buddy seat to sit on. Otherwise there's a hole between the rack and the seat.
