Hi everyoneI am retiring and trying to sell off some of my equipment that I will not be needing and using the money to pay my health insurance premium. One such item is a Milwaukee Die Filer that I have had sitting around for the last 20 years or so.I plan on listing it on Craig's list, but have no idea of what it is worth, therefore I ask your assistance. It is in wonderful shape and complete, no busted parts, but will not come with files. As you can see it comes on a stand mounted with very heavy duty casters. So, what do you think I should ask..... I think I paid around $500 for way back then, and I bought it used. I did a google search and cannot find anything close to give me any idea...... your thoughts would be considered very useful.I have attached a photo, (I will take more and better pictures but as faith would have it, the camera battery is dead so it's recharging right now) [url=]

Reply:I saw a couple of those getting tossed awhile back and thought they were scroll saws. Who'd of known.... Nice looking machine you have though, thanks for the post.
Reply:Thanks for the replies and the positive comments. It is a great machine, I just do not need it any more. I did not know about the Practical Machinist site. That is probably a better place to send my query. I'll follow up on your advice.....mike |
