Just exchanged a bottle (125 cf) of argon this morning here in the hills of NJ, 38.99 for the gas, 3 bucks for the hazmat fee. Not complaining, just saying. Best Bob

Reply:Thanks fella's for all the replies, I'm not a commercial user, maybe four/five 125 cu ft tanks per year. Just putting this info out here so others can see the price I'm paying for !00% argon. 330 cu ft tanks are rental here and would be less expensive but they are lease tanks and I do not use that much to warrent a lease in my opinion. Reply:$32 out the door for a 125' a week or two ago in Houston. It is a lesson in futility to try to compare prices and cylinder practices across the country.

Reply:I had an outofdate (L&V) 125 bottle & had to take it to airgas to exchange. $65.00 for argon + insp. fee.Since then, Matheson 5 star exchanged the 'new' one for $40.00. Hazmat fees both the same. They are about 200 yards apart & and on opposite sides of the street.
