I purchased a new TIG torch and hose..... since the one I had was rotted out......Superflex was what caught my attention.... since I had to wrestle with my other torches.......Out the door I spent $79 (give or take a few pennies)......While I haven't welded with it yet...... my initial thoughts are that it was money well spent....Ava thought it was a great buy too.....PICS..... Reply:I've got 2 of the superflex hoses, one 12' and a 25' and I can say it is much nicer than fighting with a rubber hose, especially when the temp drops a little. They are also very light which is always nice.
Reply:Does the WelCraft 17 torch accessories fit or are they all different?I have too many accessories for the WC 17 to just switch right now but I keep hearing good things about the CK line. Reply:Fexal how is the handle attatched to the torch. Is it a screw on or a slip on? I get mad when I get new torches and the handles start slipping and spinning on me when they get hot. Reply:I believe it is a slip on handle....... I'm not walking the cup much ever so I'm hoping it won't be an issue.....My Lincoln torch which is a PTA 17 has a slip on handle too and it worked fine........I'll be using it tomorrow for the first time so I will report back on how it works......The torch is actually bigger than the PTA 17 so I'm hoping that means it won't get as hot as fast.........Precision TIG 185 and MP 210Bobcat 225NTCutmaster 42O/A tanks.... 2 Argon tanks...... 2 C25 TanksFacebook...... Reply:I went to Texas Welding Supply...... CK only sells through distributors...........There are some online shops too..........If no one local....... Arc zone sells them........
