sunline posted part one of this thread a few days ago...And in response: I too love the Craigslist....I search it daily for tools.On Monday I came across a buy that I could not pass.  I found a Lincoln 255 power mig for sale, not far from me.  It was being offered for the mind blowing price of 500.  The machine is in excellent shape (see the photos) and had a only a few cosmetic and mechanical issues.  1st:  The previous owner said the gun needed a new liner...luckily it came with three new Tweco's  ! 2nd: After some investigating it turned out the liner that was in the gun was not bad...in fact it was just the wrong size (to small) for the wire being used.  3rd:  Had to repair part of the trigger on the gun4th: One of the regulator gauges was smashed and missing the glass (repaired it)5th: ground clamp is destroyed....have a new lenco on the wayEnjoy !-Graham-Mechanical EngineerAutosport Mechanic/Fabricator

Reply:OMG that's sweet! I already have a wire matic 255 I got for 600 and I thought that was a sweet deal- your's blew mine out the water! If I see one for sale like yours for 500, hell i'd have to throw away some tools to fit it in my place. If something is too good to pass, JUMP ON IT (lol). Congrats!

Reply:So far the only "major" problem I have come across  on the machine has been with the gun...besides repairing the trigger... I'm having difficulty finding nozzles and diffusers for it...the gun is a profax-lenco 250.  A few companies that have emailed have stated that Tweco parts will fit the gun, however I keep getting different part # from each of them....grrrrr-Graham-Mechanical EngineerAutosport Mechanic/Fabricator

Reply:i constantly find good deals on craigslist, you have to be ready and willing though to get the stuff asap, because if you dont, someone else will...
Reply:Graham try weldingsupply.com for nozzles and contact tips. I can get 20 contact tips from them for what 5 cost me at the LWS and they always fit unlike the ones from the LWS. They have a chart that tells you which tips fit which guns. Tweco and Lincoln interchange tips and nozzles. One feeder has an old 300 amp Tweco weldskill gun on it, my LN25 has a magnum 300 on it and the tips and nozzles interchange.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship.
