I am just running my power for a welder and was wondering how much amperage to run and which cable to use for a 300 amp welderAny help would be greatBeer is a sign that god wanted men to be happy
Reply:That would depend on the welder. What brand, and model is it? The machine will tell you how many amps it will draw. Then you will have to figure how far from the box the welder will be. Once we know that we can give you some information that will help.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:Yes, more information will be needed to give you a good answer. JohnSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases. There all here. :
Reply:I would call an electrician myself. I have a 400 amp machine that draws 50 amps and had a 250 amp that drew 100. Some of those old transformer machines are power hungry beasts. The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
