Dry cut saw in Chop saw

I have a dewalt chop saw and i was wondering if i bought a dry cut saw blade if it would work well with the chop saw and give me better cuts cause ive had enough of the spark and crappy cuts im getting with these blades.ThanksJohn
Reply:The basic answer is no. The RPM on the chopsaw is way to fast for all the drycut carbide blades I have seen. At best you will destroy the blade, at worst you could get seriously hurt. Sorry I wish it would work myself. The only thing is to get the correct saw for those blades.

Reply:I have a Milwaukee 14" dry cut chop saw with the carbide blade. I found it new on Ebay for $359.00 from a certified Milwaukee dealer. Locally they are over $500.00. You can also get one from acompany called Rage. I have one of there 7.5" metal cutting saws, works great. I wouldn't try a carbide blade in a chop saw designed for an abraisive blade. Could be bad.
