Is a MSC Metal cutting bandsaw any better than Harbor freight

I can buy a MSC bandsaw for 150 to 175 dollars but I have never heard of them and was wondering if they are any better than harbor freight or northern tools. The saw can be converted for vertical cutting also. Here is a direct link to what I am thinking of buying.Link herePicture of actual saw here
Reply:I'm not getting to a specific saw with your link. I deal with MSC on a regular basis. All of the items I have gotten including the imported ones are generally much better than anything I have seen at HF. MSC is a tool supply house for industry so they sell good quality equipment. (if you get a chance thumb thru MSC's catalogue, you'll find tons of stuff you never knew you needed) I would take one of their saws over a HF or Northern saw any day even at 2-3x the cost of a cheaper saw.
Reply:Looks like the exact same saw as the harbor freight, enco and many others. I wouldn't pay any more for it then one from HF.

Reply:You might also look at www.use-enco.comI think msc and enco are sister companies. Both from the same town.Enco seems to be a little cheaper on a lot of the hand tools. I have used them for years. Quite happy with them.As far as the band saws go I think they are all basically the same.
