Last night at lowes: 1Lincoln fixed shade 11 (actually 10.5) AD (non adjustable) on the clearance rack for 50% off lowest marked price. Marked at $90 since open package. Paid $45, retail $100. Says made in the USA inside the plastic shell. Worth it?2. Lincoln .045 innershield 10 lb spool, just laying under the .035 mig wire, no box and no place on the shelf (don't even sell the .045 wire anymore I guess). I asked the kid working and he just put a $30 price on it so I got it to play with. Is that a good deal?
Reply:Is that an automatic lens? If so then you got a pretty good deal. Seems like a good price for the .045 wire too.
Reply:$30 for 10lb is a great deal for sure!as far as the lincoln helmet, if a fixed shade is what you wanted then $45 isn't half bad.-Clarke 130EN-Miller MaxStar 150STL-Miller Elite 29' Roadster

Reply:Good deals. Do you have a machine that will push the .045 wire ?John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com

Smaller than my Makita(which is what I wanted) and easier to hold with one hand for doing cutting. Also I don't think I could buy the 30 assorted cutting and grinding wheels that come with it for that price. If it lasts a few years under normal hobbiest use then I think its worth it. |
