I need something to make bends - from 60 to 180 to 360+ (kinda like a coil) in 1/8 stainless wire (if can do thicker, great) with radius from 1" to 5-6"... I need something like this ring roller: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=36790 - but it only makes rings of 3" radius and higher... Is anyone aware of ring rollers that can make smaller radius rings?

However If you have many individual rings to roll then you will have much drop.I would suggest heating and rolling a continuous coil around an appropriate sized drop then cutting the parts from the coil. That might be what you intend to do "(kinda like a coil)".Also, I am sure somebody sell ready-made rings. Springs might work for you.Just some suggestions.
Reply:Thanks, didn't see those on my searches.I do RBS (rolling ball sculptures) - it's a hobby. Here is an [ame="http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8687338146090746261&hl=en"]example[/ame]....As you can see, I need fairly precise curves. The stuff that makes only certain diameter curves won't do, I need variable diameters. Currently I do this stuff by hand, just bending wire around various diameter PVC pipe pieces, but I wish there was a more precise method..That 2nd link seems good but pricy I checked further into the HF ring roller, and I see a place that says you can make 1" rings with it... Maybe I will try it.By the way, the coil part would be for an "archimedes screw"-like ball lift.
