I was recently presented with this item.Believe me when i say: If I'm here, my *** is on fire and I don't know where else to go for a hose. The back has a plate that says:GNCPL Box 502Ottertail, Michigan 56571Ser No 0394The barrel on the front is obviously for fuel. The long straight part has a wick in it.The barrel rotates forward to cause the spark. The curved part that comes up the back has a little metal part that I think would make sparks when the barrel part turns. The back opens up when you remove the screws and reveals two of those big batteries like you use for flashlights.I am totally stumped on this one.if anyone could give any help, I would love it.If I'm here, I must need help

Reply:Im not a pro, but it looks like some sort of flux capacitor, or maybe one of the earlier discombobulators.Miller Syncrowave 200Hobart Handler 140Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38E-Z Tube BenderPlasma Cam DHC2
Reply:Naw, can't be a Flux Capacitor unless it's a very early one. This is what the modern ones look like; http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=28
Reply:The fact that somebody took the time to CAD one of those up is more than I can handle. You win, its not a flux capacitor.Miller Syncrowave 200Hobart Handler 140Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38E-Z Tube BenderPlasma Cam DHC2

Reply:Ok, it's DEFINITELY a cigar lighter, modeled after the antiques.http://www.bcspecialties.com/cigaras...ue_lighter.asp
Reply:I don't know ANYONE that would use a zippo to light their cigar. The zippo lighter fluid has a nasty smell and taste to it. I used zippos when I smoked cigarettes and well, to be honest, you couldn't make a cigarette taste good. But when I pay upwards of 20bucks for a cigar I refuse to use anything other than a wooden match. I also wait for the compounds to burn off the tip and light my cigar with just a wooden flame.Ok, so I am a nutcase.
