Can someone please explain how to take this retaining clip off. I would use a screw driver but I hear they are notorious for breaking and I would like to not have to order another one. Thanks
Reply:Stick your pointer finger inside the hole at the bottom. Left or right side it doesn't matter, and side your finger towards the middle of the clip, and pull towards you. Then pull the top of the clip out towards you too. Then pull one side or the other of the clip from under the ledge on the hood.Dont pay any attention to meIm just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400
Reply:So I stick my finger inside the inside corner of the lens and pull the little plastic thing holding the lens in? nothing I seem to try is working. Sorry this is really frustrating and I dont see any videos on youtube on it and there are no instructions.
Reply:Put some man hands in there. If it's the fibre-metal, it's fairly easy. Sent from my SM-T537R4 using Tapatalk
Reply:okay I got it lol thanks guy where do I buy replacement parts I cant find any. I can tell this plastic clip is not gonna last that long
Reply:I called this outfit, and ordered a hand full. I can't remember what they cost. Soon as you can find a metal retaining clip out of a Jackson hood, I'd cut it down to fit your Pipeliner hood. http://www.bettymills.com/shop/produ...584/search.htmDont pay any attention to meIm just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400 |
