I'm sure it's been discussed but what is the best lens for a hood I have a standard hood it was a auto darking lincoln but it went out and they don't make a replacement for it anymore so a made it a standard lens so what's the clearest lens and cover lens you can put in a helment?

Reply:Phillips safety is good. So is the wens lens. I have an old lincoln super visibility that is badass. They don't make them any more but you can still find them. Have to get the old one that comes in the paper sleeve.
Reply:I'll look into the I run a gold lens now and love it but I get the off the truck and was just looking for something that's a little better quality and clearer theses boat seem to be of any quality. Thanks fellas
Reply:I've got a glass Supervisibility like Specops', and I've got an Aulektro. They're very similar. What ever you decide, get a glass lens. I just don't think plastic compares. Reply:I agree with dubl, I have a wens cool blue and a aulektro Aqua, and I like the wens lens but I think the Aqua is better at providing contrast between weld metal and slag than the wens. My wens is like too blue IMO. Just picked up another Aqua in shade 10.Anyone have a stand out preference for clear covers? I just been using the ones my work gives me, but I change them frequently. |
