Here's a few handrails I built for a local winter resort that is putting in a snowboard terrain park.   They're built mostly from 2"x2"x.120", 2"x4"x.120", and .90" round tubing.  They're pretty straight foward, but the curved rail was pretty fun to make.  They ranged from 10' long to over 30' long, so moving them around the shop was a bit of a struggle, but overall a fun project. I work at a sign shop, so I made nice panels to fill in the gaps instead of just putting painted plywood.  Gives it a nice personal touch for the resort.  Thanks for looking,Jordan Schulze Attached ImagesThermal Arc Fabricator 281Miller 350PMiller Syncrowave 200Lincoln ProCut-55Jackson NexGen

Reply:Wow, you had to use the office for real work huh? lol. They look like a good money project.
Reply:Awesome work. Really like the curved rail
Reply:nice job on the nut crackers!!!!
Reply:Looks good , what resort are they going to?On the curved double barrel, you didnt offset the height of the tubes at all.  From a riders standpoint, its nicer when the outer rail is higher, otherwise on a double rail like that you dont even touch the outer rail.Have we all gone mad?

Reply:Awsome job!!! Every one of them look great! Where did yu get the roller from?
Reply:The roller is from Woodward Fab.  I think it was around $500 including dies.  Not quite as nice as a Baileigh unit, but it got the job done and for a lot less money.  Plus it's a far better workoutThermal Arc Fabricator 281Miller 350PMiller Syncrowave 200Lincoln ProCut-55Jackson NexGen

Reply:Awesome job. I have reletives that live in Copper Harbor, I'll have to check out the park next time I'm up there.I'm planning on building some rails for myself soon, now I have some good ideas on what type of tubing to use.I buy UHMW from http://www.iplasticsupply.com/materi...tone-sheet-rod. Great material for uses like this and other things like wear pads and other sliding applications.

Reply:@ jschulze - trick work bro. Excellent job with the rail projects.  The welds look pro.  Just set up a "cold smoke" activity for Feb'14 at JacksonHole with a few buds.  Looking forward to grinding on the Hobacks."Discovery is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought" - Albert Szent-Gyorgyi
