RV antifreeze in TIG torches

A recent thread had a post that stated RV antifreeze was not rated for thermal transfer by Recochem - one of the manufacturers of RV anitfreeze.I emailed the company (Recochem) and here is the response:RV plumbing antifreeze contains ethanol and if heated the solution will release ethanol vapours which are flammable, this is why Recochem does not recommend the use of RV plumbing antifreeze as a heat transfer fluid.Hope this helpsthanksRobin Le SageRecochem Inc. 8725 Holgate Crescent, Milton, Ontario, L9T 5G7Directeur, Conformité et Informations TechniquesCompliance and Technical Information Manager
