Sign Hanger

I am making a sign holder out of of some 1x1x1/8 square steel tubing and some flat barstock. It is just a triangle to be mounted onto a 4x4 pt that is stuck into the ground. Anyways, I need some sort of d-ring that Can be used to hang a chain onto. I was looking at something that was like 1-1/4 inches in diameter and about 1 inch tall give-or-take. My client likes (this) look. If anyone knows where I can get something very similar to that, that would be excellent. My deadline is sunday for the first one. Sorry for no pic. Thanks.

Reply:Just get some 1/4" hot rolled round. Put something about 3/4" round into your vise and bend it around it (can be done cold). Then put your 'U' into the vise at the desired depth. cut off the remaining legs 1/2" above the vise with a cut off wheel and bend them inward until they meet. For the hanger straps just split some rond tube in half and tack into place with the d rings under it.
