So on the same vein of Raul's thread about tig gloves. Anyone use some sort of tig finger type device? So my day job is at a hardware store and we have the ove glove here was thinking about buying one and cutting a finger off and using it for prop. Yes I would have the edge sewn so they won't fray. What is everyone's thoughts?

Reply:The stuff is Alumina Silicate. they sell it in quite a few applications. Like the packing that goes around stove doors. Or the gaskets on some motorcycle exhausts. Mac
