Semi Conductor parts

Got started on a run of 5 Spiders today ........The last batch.....I used the old pulsar settings I used on my transformer machine which was 52 % on time 50 % background 2.5 PPSand 65 amps  ......Don't really think there is a better setting for these parts?  I might try a different set up for fusing the tubes (304)  I don't use any pulse when I fuse the butt joints but I may try something like 200 PPS and the default settings on "Back and On" with like 60 amps? the tubes are .030 wall stainless......Last edited by B_C; 06-18-2013 at 09:31 PM.  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock

Reply:Looks good as always BC.Question: Do you need to purge them and if so, is that a hassle when you use the positioner? Or does the configuration of that joint allow you to not worry about back purging?Looks like you get a lot of work out of Silicon Valley, eh?

Reply:Got a late start this morning so I did all the parts that required the rotary and then welded up a couple on the fixture.....probably do the rest tomorrow.......
