i recently acquired a Miller spectrum 625 machine with the ice 40c torch . the machine works great , but the torch head was abused ..... the torch body is cracked + beat to **** , the trigger is shot and the contact plunger has arced and is badly pitted . i have patched it as best as i can with epoxy , and cleaned up the contact . .... with fresh consumables it works great , but it's on its last legs . the wire conduit is so stiff and clumsy it might as well be made of wood.i want to replace the torch with something else - anyone have any first hand experience at this ? there're many replacement torches available , but this is new to me - it appears it needs : trigger send/return wires , cup microswitch return wire , pilot arc wire , and air hose ....... but i'mnot absolutely sure . i know the T-D sl-60 torch would work , because they sell a $100 adaptor specifically for the miller 625 . that would be fine, but i can't spend $600 on this . the Trafimet s-75 looks like it could work , it's around $160.00 , and the consumables are very inexpensive .... but again ,I need advice !Miller S60 feederCobramatic push/pull feederMiller CP-252tsLincoln Tig250/Tig250Lincoln weldpak 100 -italianC-H 90A- italianHarris & Victor O\Afull manual & CNC machine shop
