Got an opportunity to get a new (to me) toy. See a Hypertherm powermax 600 plasma cutter. I have used one a few times, but know very little about them to be honest. What kind of things should one look for on the machine. Supposedly it is about a year old, with a cart. Other than the consumables, if it works is it ok?Millermatic 252"Don't worry, he's got a welder, he can fix anything"
Reply:you can get the serial number and call hypertherm for a production date, look to see if its abused, full of dirt dented and if the power leads and torch lead is chewed up and why is the person selling, for the right price anything is worth something
