Long time lurker, first time poster. Just picked up a HH140 for some light gauge stuff. Decided to play around with it using some scraps laying around the shop. This was one of those PLAN AS YOU BUILD projects. You know, just cut it to fit Anyways, the 140 is awesome, way better than firing up the O/A torch like I am used to.. Used an old hand truck, bed frame and plate for the materials.

Reply:I like it - bonus points for using scrap."Plan as you build" is how most stuff gets built at my place A mig may not be as relaxing as your oxy/fuel rig - but they sure are faster. Reply:I have the exact same setup. Cart cost me $5, like the idea and +1 on using otherwise scrap materials.
Reply:Did you take that bottle all the way from L I V O N I A Michigan? I grew up off Joy and Merriman in the 60's and 70's... Great place then I hear they adding a Midget MIG Welding event in the 2018 Olympics. I think your cart would be perfect for use at their training facilities LOL No seriously nice cart
Reply:Great and functional build, it will serve you well. Great use of scraps, very resourceful. Well done! |
