Miller Bobcat 225- wanting to buy

I'm looking at buying a Miller Bobcat 225 gas welder.Its has 1800hrs and is selling for $1500.Say it was in medium to well condition, starts easy, test welds well, and keep your figers crossed it was atleast decently kept (can hopfully get sings of to the extent of how well kept it was) would $1500 be worth it for a machine with 1800 hrs on it. Is 1800 hrs considered a small, medium, large, outrageous ammount of hours for a Kohler driven machine?Thanks for the help.

Reply:Why give that much for a 2 banger when a four banger can be bought for that. I have to run a miller bobcat at work on the service truck. I really cringe everytime I crank up the thing. I have an old 200 lincoln thats so old it doesnt even have a hole for the starter. Have to crank her by hand or use 3 batteries hooked in series but I get an arc that is so much smoother. No comparison. Go lincoln 4 or 6 banger. You will never be sorry.
