flex head tig torch

I was welding some stiffening plates on the ribs of my boat todayand I figured out that its pretty hard to run the foot pedal with myknee while bent over trying to weld. After a few cuss words and saying this is stupid, I decided to just stand on the garagefloor and reach over the side and do it. Work smarter not harder right.Being limited to only so much room to get in the right positionI remembered I have a flex head torch duh... After only two timesadjusting the flex head, it flexed right off. Broke right at the head,I could see the copper tube in half. That sucks, right in the middle of a project .Any way for a easy fix or just get a new one?Iam also wanting a torch longer than 10'. Will any torch workor does it have to be a lincoln tig 225 torch 17 series?      Thanks.          James
Reply:Should be able to buy a new #17 torch and put it on the hose/cable. Reply:Thanks squirmy pug I didn't know if weld craft,ck or other brands are compatible.Just replacing it would be easier, just want longer hose though.
