welding handcuff rings with 110 mig

after fabricating 8 handcuff rings i had to install them in an area over 1/4 mile from the shop. the idea of walking my lincoln dinosaur that far plus tools was depressing so i broke out my 110 mig. it worked great till the last ring then the breaker blew. i should have ground the paint off and welded one ring then ground the next while the breaker cooled after reset. 110 mig welds are on the bottom baseplate to steel bench using nr 211 wire. the top picture install welds done last week are with a miller 110 stick using 6011 3/32 rods. for small jobs i was impressed with the miller 110 stick.
